Belvedere Quartzite

Belvedere Quartzite is a black natural stone with small wave of gold crystals and a slightly green wave. It is mined in Brazil and available in 30mm thickness. The granite is a natural occurring stone that is ideal for kitchen worktops as its extremely hard to scratch, resistant to very high temperatures and once sealed, resistant to staining. Sometimes known as belvedère, tropical storm, fortemoro, black cosmic, black sodalite, cosmic black. This quartzite has a deep jet background contrasts beautifully with the dramatic gold veins in Belevedere Quartzite from Brazil.The unfurling of gold and white waves is unusual and abundantly rich in colour for maximum visual interest. A naturally occurring metamorphic rock. It is created when sandstone is subjected to extreme heat and pressure caused by tectonic plate compression in the crust of the earth. The stone is mined and sawn into slabs which we later precisely cut to become your new Worktops. The tops are polished and sealed for beauty and durability.

Slabs sizes are around 3000mm x 1900mm, 20mm or 30mm thick with a polished or leathered finish.
